Installation Engineer
IT Support Assistant
Dedicated and experienced Installation Engineer to join our team. We provide support and installation services to schools, colleges, and businesses, including network cabling (fibre and copper), Interactive touch screens, Large format displays, CCTV, and Electrical works.
TRAINING IS PROVIDED
Responsibilities:
Installation and maintenance of network cabling (fibre and copper), interactive touch screens, large format displays, CCTV, and electrical systems.
On-site work within a 40-mile radius of our Radstock office.
Utilization of company-provided tools and equipment, including a company van, laptop, and mobile phone.
A clean driving license and DBS check are essential requirements for this role.
While prior IT systems knowledge is beneficial, it's not mandatory, as our software engineers will carry out the configuration work, we can also provide training for new projects and systems.
The successful candidate should be able to work independently and as part of a team, possess a positive attitude, and effectively interact with customers on-site. Professionalism and a strong work ethic are crucial.
The salary will be based on experience and the qualifications of the right candidate.
Qualifications and Requirements:
You should have a good basic toolkit, but we can provide specialized equipment as required.
Reliability in commuting to Radstock, BA3 3FX, is essential.
This is a full-time, permanent position, with work scheduled from Monday to Friday.

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for answering phones, managing support tickets, and ensuring our clients receive the assistance they need in a timely and efficient manner. A pleasant manner and good basic IT skills are required for this role, as well as the ability to organize collection of equipment by engineers.
TRAINING IS PROVIDED
Responsibilities:
The role is office based and the responsibilities include
Answer incoming phone calls and provide initial support and troubleshooting assistance.
Create, update, and prioritize support tickets in our ticketing system.
Gather essential information from clients to diagnose technical issues effectively.
Route and escalate tickets to the appropriate IT professionals when necessary.
Monitor and follow up on ticket progress, ensuring timely resolution and client satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records of all client interactions and ticket updates.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally and courteously.
Collaborate with the IT team to ensure a seamless support process and share client feedback for continuous improvement.
Assisting with organisation of calendars and engineers schedules.
Communicate with the workshop to maintain the correct staff distribution.

Main role / Responsibilities [will include but not be limited to]:
Responsible the supply chain management and for evaluating a company's purchasing decisions and acting
as a liaison between Apollo and its vendors. This role will require a daily use of Sage, Monday.com and excel
and Google sheets.
Sourcing vendors: Finding potential suppliers and communicating the company's needs.
Evaluating vendors: Inspecting and testing samples, and documenting their features and benefits.
Negotiating contracts: Negotiating favorable pricing and terms with suppliers.
Analysing costs: Conducting cost-benefit analysis to compare vendors and choose the best fit.
Reporting: Preparing reports on purchasing metrics and vendor costs.
Developing strategies: Developing short- and long-term sourcing strategies.
Presenting decisions: Presenting final purchasing decisions to invested parties.
Personal Qualities: (Example Team player)
Strong analytical and attention to detail skills, an understanding of business finance.
● Smartly dressed, professionality, good Hygiene
● Good customer service skills, works well on own as well as in a team and good time keeping.
Desired Qualifications:
5 GCSEs total
• English and Maths GCSE grade D or above
• 3x GCSEs grade A C in any subject
Future Prospects (include what the long term prospects for the apprentices would be):
The apprentice will be considered as a real team member and they will be able to make a real impact in the
company growth in terms of IT. After completion of the apprenticeship, the apprentice will be offered a permanent
position if we are the right fit for each other.
